Bitcoin Classroom

Signing up for a class reserves you a seat in that class (limited to 5 students per class). A donation is requested to reserve your seat. A $100 donation is recommended (per seat) in order to cover the cost of hardware and the time required to prepare class materials. However, please feel free to donate any amount you can afford. Excess funding will be used to extend and grow class offerings and to make more locations available. 

Each student can choose from any of the following topics to learn during the class and each student can learn a different topic:

  • Multisig-101: Learn to setup a multisig wallet in Sparrow using a ColdCard, Ledger Nano S and Trezor One
  • Multisig-201: Learn to restore a multisig wallet in Sparrow and Nunchuk in a variety of ways and learn to encrypt config files.
  • Single Sig Hardware Wallet Tutorials: Ledger Nano S, ColdCard Mk4, Trezor One, Blockstream Jade
  • Setting up a Bitcoin Full Node (Start9): Setup a Start9 full node using a repurposed HP mini PC.  Option to purchase node hardware  to setup and take home with you.

All classes include classroom provided laptops, hardware wallets and/or node hardware will be provided for in class use – DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP.  In some cases, hardware can be purchased separately.  The instructor will reach out to you after checkout to see which topics you want to cover in the class.

This reserves your seat in the Class at the Sports World in East Windsor (226 Main St, East Windsor, CT 06088) on August 4th from 1pm-4pm. You may select from any of our class offerings on this date. Classroom materials will be provided when you arrive and an instructor will walk you through the steps and assist with any issues or questions you have.
