We provide onboarding and support to create the most resilient BTC self custody setup possible via Liana Wallet. Get the security of multisig with the recover-ability of singlesig. Taproot enables you to keep all these recovery options fully private yet enforceable onchain. When you pass away your family will have idiot-proof redundancy with multiple non-kyc, private inheritance options.
The biggest fundamental problem with all other self custody options today is they are static, but your wallet needs to change over time. Today you want multisig to have multiple keys and to spread them out geographically to make your money as safe as possible. When you die or are incapacitated you need your setup to become as simple as possible for your heirs to be able to recover it.
We will create a layered recovery:
Layer 1: a standard 2 of 3 multisig
Later 2: After 65,000 blocks (about 15 months) all three become a 1 of 1 singlesig. Meaning you can lose 2 of your keys and still be fine. This delay is enforced by the Bitcoin network itself and makes it safe to give your heir a single key. That single key will be sufficient to recover your funds and cement your legacy forever.
