2019 Grande Reserve Pinot Noir
Regularly $86.34, our 2019 Grande Reserve is an expertly blended selection of our finest barrels and represents the pinnacle of winemaking at Privato. Harvested from the Lake Country area, the grapes for this limited release wine were whole cluster fermented before aging 18 months in French oak followed by an additional 18 months in the bottle. This wine will only improve with aging for several more years. Earthy tones of Morel mushrooms, wild thyme and sage intermingle with aromas of prune plums. 2020 Tesoro Pinot Noir
Regularly $54.14, "Tesoro" meaning treasure in Italian exemplifies the elegance and finesse of our flagship Pinot Noir. Patiently aged for 18 months in French oak before resting an additional year in the bottle this ruby-red wine exhibits aromas of lavender and black cherries intertwined with toasty oak aromas. This palate shows lovely acid and tannin balance which lingers with a soft, silky mouthfeel. Awards - Platinum - National Wine Awards, Silver - All Canadian Wine Championship
2019 Casato Merlot
Regularly $48.39 "Casato" meaning family farm personifies the vertical lineage passed on from fathers to sons. The Woodward roots are firmly planted here at the farm and this wine is a tribute to our family roots. Harvested from Osoyoos, BC, this wine was aged for 18 months in French oak followed by an additional year lying down in the bottle. An earthy nose opens to chocolate covered cherries, leather and blueberry flavors that linger on a velvety and generous finish.
2021 Pinot Noir
Regularly $39.19 Aged for 18 months in French oak, this Pinot Noir was hand harvested from vineyards in Kaleden, BC. This wine is an expression of sun-warmed black and ruby plums, blackberry jam and hints of sage. A lingering soft palate together with approachable tannins all contribute to the elegance of this popular wine.
2021 Merlot
Regularly $35.74, Harvested from the South Okanagan, this Merlot was aged for 18 months in French and American oak and will respond very well to further aging. A fragrant nose opens to a bouquet of cherries, dried herbs, and black pepper spice. The palate augments the nose with black cherry, spicy oak, and cinnamon, leaving a soft, silky mouth feel and generous finish.
2022 Red Sorpresa
Regularly $31.14, Sorpresa (Italian for surprise) is a surprise blend of our estate Baco Noir and Marechal Foch along with Merlot and Cabernet Franc from Osoyoos. Aged for 8 months in oak barriques, this medium bodied red, shows bold aromas of black cherries and plum. The palate offers ripe black fruits with notes of blackberry, mocha and vanilla bean.
2023 Rose
Regularly $28.84, Our Rose is an approachable blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It bursts with aromas of candy apples and wild strawberries. On the palate, flavours of fresh strawberries and apricot combined with bright acidity and a slightly dry finish round out this perfect patio wine.
2022 Bolle Rose (Sparkling)
Regularly $33.44. Crave a little sparkling romance? Let our Bolle Rosa dazzle you with “Pink Bubbles” of star fruit and citrus aromas, while delicate scents of jasmine arouse your senses with fruity and zesty kisses of papaya. This bubbly Rose adds a twist of Italian with the aptly named Bolle Rosa which is Italian for "Pink Bubbles". All from the South Okanagan this lovely "Frizzante" is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Pinot Gris with a splash of Merlot.
2022 Gewurztraminer
Regularly $27.69, this vintage of "Gew" produced from well-established vines in Summerland, BC has enticing perfume-like floral aromas of roses, lychee, and melon, leaving you with an invitation to taste. The palate finishes off-dry to balance its natural acidity, making it the perfect pairing for any Asian-inspired dish or simply to enjoy as a patio sipper.
2022 Golden Russet
Regularly $26.54. Exceptional beverages do not merely come to be; they evolve over time. The Woodward family are the award-winning winemakers of Privato Vineyard and Winery that turned their hand to perfecting the cider of Woodward Cider Co. Their latest venture combines these two art forms and has given birth to "NOBLE GRAFT”. From Woodward estate orchards, Golden Russet apples, esteemed by cider makers, create a luscious, medium-bodied cider with a velvety texture. It boasts flavours of sweet apple pie, ripe pear, and a hint of honey, enriched by 9 months in Chardonnay barrels for a delicate, buttery complexity.
2021 Cabernet Franc
Regularly $44.94 Aged for 18 months in French oak, our Cabernet Franc was hand harvested from vineyards in Oliver, BC. This classic medium-bodied wine has a floral aroma with vegetal notes. The flavor boasts a balance of black cherry and raspberry with peppery earthiness. A lingering soft palate together with approachable tannins all contribute to the elegance of this wine.
